Lee Gundry reports carp up to 22lb are being caught from lily pads up to top basin at A590 end. Also reports of carp being seen & caught towards canal foot (Sea End) near glaxo bridge. Plenty of silver fish & bream being caught on maggots and bags of up to 5 tench are also being reported.

Dave Battersby told me on 20/3/2009 that he'd recently been catching tench and large bream on boilies meant for Carp. Still to find out what else is going on - Must phone Lee Gundry!
